‘Mankind’ is opening on June 29th, 2023 at Canvas Art Gallery. The exhibition features eight artists; AB Rehman, Ahsan Javaid, Ahsan Memon, Ghazi Sikander Mirza, Mariam Arshad, Noormah Jamal, Raheela Abro and Syed Hussain presenting personal and political narratives through a series of figurative artworks using different mediums.
The artists’ have used the idea of figurative art to capture the essence of the human form with great nuance and complexity. The contemporary works showcase variety of mediums from oil paintings and ceramics to creative usage of recyclable materials. The diversity and versatility of the works aim to tell each artists unique story.
The show remains open daily until Thursday, 29th June 2023, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding Sunday and Public Holidays.
