Exhibition Voices: Parthero at Haus der Kunst, Munich, follows its earlier version which was at Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul and now has been much anticipated by its admirers. This particular showing further advances Parreno’s interest in the oscillations of reality and its interpenetration of multiple states of being by making the exhibition areas out of the shifting sceneries of the tropical science fiction landscape buzzing with the presence of something hidden inside but closer to life than the imagination.

El Almendral 2024, which is the most powerful highlight of the unique construction that is built around the exhibition, unveils an almendral that surrounds southern Spain into a set at any moment and every moment. The change of seasons at the almendral forms the basis of the pieces of art exhibited. This extreme land art uses technology to see the world; this live feed is being showcasted over 2000 kilometers away at Haus der Kunst.

Crawler is an excellent project that combines art with technology. This particular piece is self powered and has intelligence to control movement, being able to move along a straight spine line on the vertical. The piece started searching for brain electric activity in talking about W. Grey Walter… how his early robots experimented.

Amazing new highlights of the show include inbuilt moving lamp, how positioning illuminates space, how moving alters sculpture.
